Littlewoods stores attract major retailers
At least half a dozen high street retailers are fighting to get their hands on 80 former Littlewoods stores being sold off by Associated British Foods, the new owner of the department store chain.
It is thought that Arcadia, New Look, TK Maxx, Debenhams, Wilkinsons and Peacocks are all considering putting in offers for some of the stores. The deadline is understood to be the middle of next week. ABF yesterday declined to comment.
